When it comes to information, you can never really have too much! And unless you are in the hair industry, some of the terms we use everyday, may be unfamiliar to you. This section is dedicated to bringing you into our world and giving you more confidence when selecting the various services available to you at Stylekrafters. From policies to services, this section is here for you! 

Balayage - is a French word meaning to sweep or to paint. In a hair salon however, the word has become a way of life. ... This allows for a sun-kissed, natural looking hair color, similar to what nature gives us as children. When done properly the balayage technique leaves softer, less noticeable regrowth lines.

Blow-Out - We offer 5 different Blow-Out options depending on your needs. Our Blow-Outs will last for days and keep you feeling fabulous!

Brazilian Keratin Treatment (BKT) - A Brazilian blowout and a keratin treatment are both hair-smoothing treatments that temporarily coat the outer layer of the hair to smooth the hair, remove frizz, enhance shine and decrease blow-drying time. BKT should last between 3-4 months.

Conditioning Treatments - We offer 5 different conditioning treatments which provides the perfect finishing touch to your relaxing shampoo for that added punch to make your hair feel fabulous and repairs any damage you may be experiencing. 

Esthetician Licensure is awarded to those estheticians who have completed the necessary training and passed all required examinations. Schools and agencies can award certifications once you complete a training or education program, but you won't be legally authorized to work until you've been licensed by a state governing body.

Eyebrow Tinting - We can tint your eyebrows to compliment your hair color. It's quick and easy and makes a beautiful difference in your appearance.

Fashion Foils - uses the least amount of foils to provide highlights or lowlights to your hair. We use foils to partition off select strands of hair to complement your hair and face.

Full Foil - provides the maximum amount of color coverage.

Glaze - is a semi-permanent color option that coats the hair shaft with color and shine. It can also be clear or tinted to compliment and boost your base color. 

Hair Extensions

Highlights -  and foils are basically the same thing. ... Foils is a method use in highlighting hair, there are other methods such as the cap method. Different people use different methods to highlight hair. Getting a full head or half head highlight depends on the style you want.

Lashes

Lowlights -  involve darkening strands of hair by using colors that are darker than your natural color. In contrast, highlights use colors that are lighter than your natural shade
